Growing up, I (Jacob) faced financial instability that limited many opportunities. Stability was a word other families used. But I was lucky that I got into a great high school, and then community college opened doors I never knew existed.
At community college, I discovered that college isn't just about classes. It's about the people you meet, the clubs you join, the random Tuesday night event that introduces you to your future co-founder. But here's the problem: most students miss these moments. Events get buried in email chains. Flyers blow away. Opportunities slip by.
